Artist hired
Dear friends and enemies of democracy,
After a long hiring process, I have found an artist for the game. Andrea Yepez is a digital animation student at my university (Universidad San Francisco de Quito) and has some serious, serious skills. You may check two of her draft images below:
Readers of this post: What are your opinions on this art?
In the past, I had been reticent to hire someone else. It will cost a lot of money... for a project that won't make any. But now I am convinced that this is worth it, because I want Socratic Democracy to be as good as it can be.
We have had a series of meetings and the drawings are evolving. The last version of the city view, not shown here, is astonishing.
I've also got some help from friends and a former student of politics. It is really awesome to divide the work, to manage instead of doing everything myself. I write and rewrite specs, and give detailed feedbacks that slowly improve it all. I can't wait to see the final product.
