Winter to spring animation
Socratic Democracy » Devlog
Hi there, friends and foes of democracy,
This devlog is just to show how the season transition animation is evolving, and perhaps collect some comments and suggestions. I recommend watching it in the best quality you can.
I am quite happy with it, but see some issues, such as:- The snow capped trees have a weird transition in the early stages.
- At some points, the transition is very abrupt. Although I think that happens in reality, perhaps it is not the best for the animation.
- I wonder if flowers should all come out at the same moment, instead of varying from plant to plant and terrain to terrain, as it is now.
- The cloud feels static. I would like to make the cloud evolve in format and colors.
- Every object is static. I plan to have the trees and bushes oscillate with the wind.
- I feel like distant objects should be a bit more blurry and their colors should tend to blue of gray, to improve the sensation of distance.
What do you guys think?
Cheers,
Pedro
